What the Shutdown Means for Our Park

What the Federal Government Shutdown Means for Our Park

As of today, October 1st, the federal government shutdown has officially gone into effect. The Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park is a National Park Service unit and part of the Department of Interior. With that said, we want to keep you informed about how this impacts our beloved park.

Here’s what you need to know:

– No staff, programs, or services will be available.

– No maintenance or facility operations will take place.

–  The park grounds remain open for walk-throughs.

Even during this shutdown, you can make a difference:

– Donate to help us continue protecting and caring for the park.

– Share this update with your friends and family.

– If you visit, please stay safe and help keep the park clean.

We’ll continue to post updates on our website as more information becomes available.

Thank you for standing with us during this uncertain time. Your support means everything to the future of our park.
