Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park 15th Anniversary Celebration

Join us as we celebrate 15 years of the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park and honor a milestone that has helped preserve, interpret, and share one of America’s most significant industrial and cultural landscapes.

Hosted by the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park and the Hamilton Partnership for Paterson, the park’s official nonprofit partner, and in collaboration with the New Jersey Community Development Corporation, the Charles J. Muth Museum, and the Paterson Music Project, this special community celebration commemorates the park’s 15th anniversary as a unit of the National Park Service while also recognizing America250, the nationwide commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The event will bring together community members, elected officials, partners, educators, artists, and supporters to reflect on the park’s impact and look ahead to its future. A highlight of the celebration will be the unveiling of “America Untold,” a new community mural by Paterson artist Joel ‘YOBE’ Beleno, created through public engagement workshops and inspired by the diverse history, cultures, and stories that define Paterson.

Guests will enjoy welcoming remarks, a musical performance, the mural unveiling, and opportunities to connect with the many organizations and individuals whose partnerships have expanded educational opportunities, arts and culture, youth engagement, and historic preservation throughout the region.

As we celebrate this important milestone, we invite the community to honor the park’s first 15 years, celebrate the people and partnerships that have made its success possible, and help shape the next chapter of one of New Jersey’s most treasured national parks.
